Description: This course is a deep dive into regenerative design, grounded in the permaculture ethics and principles as well as local ecology. In addition to completing a group design project, you will learn an abundance of earth care techniques–managing water, building healthy soil, designing and planting food forests, integrating livestock, and much more. You will also get an introduction to natural building and social permaculture. This course is designed to showcase applications of permaculture on many scales, from urban settings to farms. Expect to spend a few hours outside of class working on your design project.
Limited scholarship funds are available for those with the greatest need and from historically underserved communities. Email boulderpdc@gmail.com for more information. Payment plans are also available.
